May is one of the most spectacular and tasteful months in California and it's time again to celebrate the Taste of the Nation in Santa Barbara on May 19. With over 20 restaurants and chefs bringing you delectable edibles and local wineries brining plenty of sip worthy wines, this is one event for your gastronomical senses and for your heart.

The event ticket sales support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger in Santa Barbara and across the nation. Local charities that will benefit from this year’s event include Santa Barbara Food Bank, California Food Policy Advocates and California Association of Food Banks.

San Francisco Vintners Market Spring Wine in the City is brining close to 200 wines for you to try and you can also buy them at the event. There will be many local wines from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara and other regions as well as imported wines and the event will be held at the historic Fort Mason Center. We were at a past wine event at the Fort Mason center and the views are just breathtaking. 

In the case that you do happen to have leftover wine you can store it proeprly for the next day, use it for cooking, or even make ice cubes. 

 

Just to celebrate Valentine's Day we wanted to give you something delicious to win - decadent Valentine's Petit Fours from Andersen's Restaurant & Bakery in Santa Barbara! We teamed up with Andersen's to give you these cute desserts and you can pair them with a sweet wine or Champagne for a romantic Valentine's evening.
