2007 Cal Poly Syrah - Medium body, great balance and ripe fresh berry flavors with prolonged finish. -

Hi there, we just booked our trip to Carmel, but hope to stop for 2-3 days in Santa Barbara. Do you have any "don't miss" winery recomammendations?

This cluster is very loose - missing many berries- this is very common this year in our Trousseau Gris & in many vineyards in the Sonoma-Napa -North-Coast wine growing region this year. For us it was a caused by a combination of things that came together at bloom time this year -especially the late rain.
Who knows what this viticultural condition is called?
