2008 Stolpman Sangiovese
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar gave 92 points: "(aged 30 months in neutral French oak): Moderately saturated red-ruby. Perfumed, high-pitched aromas of raspberry, red cherry, minerals, rose petal and Asian spices; rather Chambolle-like.
Suave, juicy and seamless; rich but light on its feet, offering captivating red fruit perfume. Very pure, fresh Sangiovese, finishing with very even, fine-grained tannins and a burst of maraschino cherry."
