The winery was founded by Benjamin Flajnik from ABC’s “The Bachelor” and Michael Benziger was founded 2008 by two childhood friends. as Evolve Winery and joined in 2011 by Danny Fay a Sonoma native and other childhood friend. The winery emphasizes the relation between friends and the enjoyment of wine.
The three formed a team built on long-lasting friendships and shared passion for winemaking with the focus to educate people more about winemaking, viticulture, organic and biodynamics, and create honest, sustainable friendships with the customers, just as with ther own team. people more about winemaking, viticulture, organic and biodynamics.
They produce two labels - Envolve Wines and Epilogue Wines. The Envolve wines originate from Sonoma and are organic, biodynamic or sustainably farmed.What to Taste
2008 Envolve Cabernet Sauvignon - Sonoma Valley -
Complex, structured and well balanced, dark berry flavors enhanced by aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, and Vanilla. Lush, ripe characteristics. Sweet entry, soft silky tannins and great dark fruit characteristics.
2010 Lennox Vineyard Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley -
Dry and silky, with acids. Sour cherry candy, sandalwood and persimmon flavors, long, spicy finish. Good with steak, tuna, salmon, and lamb.
